Sage Hoops exists to provide athletes with thoughtful coaching, honest feedback, and consistent standards. Development is approached with patience, intention, and a focus on long-term growth.
Gage Jenkins
Coach Gage is a dedicated basketball mind with experience across all levels of the game. He worked with the Arizona State Mens Basketball program, supporting player development and team operations at the Division I level. He is a USA Basketball Gold Licensed Coach and has led individual workouts for Division I and professional athletes, as well as directed group training sessions and basketball camps centered on skill development and competition.
Coach Gage believes basketball is a powerful tool for teaching confidence, discipline, and resilience. He is deeply passionate about helping athletes grow both on and off the court by developing strong habits, mental toughness, and a clear sense of purpose that extends beyond the game.

Detail-Driven Instruction
Small adjustments create big results.
Every rep is coached with intention. Emphasis is placed on body positioning, angles, timing, footwork, and spacing so players build habits that translate to game speed and hold up under pressure.

Fundamental Mastery
The foundation of confident, adaptable players. Footwork, balance, shooting mechanics, and ball control are prioritized in every workout. Strong fundamentals allow players to move efficiently, adjust on the fly, and execute skills in any situation.

Complete Game Development
Train the whole player, not isolated skills. Workouts develop every aspect of the game: offense, defense, passing, ball handling, screening, off-ball movement, rebounding, and basketball IQ. Players learn the game, not just drills.
